Subaru (UK)- New Title Sponsors

In exiting times at Houghton International Subaru (UK) have joined as the new title sponsor and North Astor Group extend their commitment to Houghton International.

"North Astor Group Ltd is delighted to be sponsoring at The Subaru Houghton International again in 2008, following our involvement in the successful inaugural event last year. With our support of the three day event alongside the popular Eventers' Grand Prix, we are privileged to be contributing once more to what promises to be an even more impressive set-up this May, in the beautiful parklands surrounding Houghton Hall" stated Michael Brett.
Alec Lochore said "thanks to the continued valuable support of North Astor Group and the new title sponsor Subaru we will be able to give a £4,000 first prize in the CCI** and a £1,000 first prize in the North Astor Group Invitational Grand Prix. This exciting class will be televised by Horse & Country TV alongside the CCI**. These are very exiciting times for The Subaru Houghton International"

Houghton on TV - Horse and Country TV are to cover the entire event with 3 one hour programmes being produced for broadcast as part of this initial sponsorship deal with Subaru. "This is very exciting for Houghton International as we can bring the fun, triumph and tears of The Subaru Houghton International into peoples homes as we bild this event over the next few years, promote our sponsors and further expose the rider and equine talent we have in this country as we build towards London 2012." said Director Alec Lochore

10 January 2008 - Sponsors new and Sponsors old

We are delighted to welcome new and welcome back exisiting sponsors to Houghton International for 2008. Handelsbanken are a Swedish bank that provide personal, business and private client banking are the first in the Banking sector to join Houghton International. We welcome back North Astor Group who last year sponsored the very popular Eventers Grand Prix's and who will this year again have a increased profile. Shadwell Stud have returned this year as an associate sponsor alongside existing Associate sponsors Smith & Williamson, Connelly's Red Mills and Howes Percival
